Patrick Clark, President & CEO

Pat has 25+ years of proven executive management and leadership driving bottom-line performance and enhancing shareholder value, developing and executing growth strategies, building high performance teams and mergers & acquisitions activity.
Pat’s background includes all facets of sales modeling, team building, global go-to-market development and launch, global channel development, professional services, and solution sales involving a broad portfolio of products and services.
He has contributed to multiple startups and brought early stage companies to mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs, resulting in $10+ billion in market capitalization. He has orchestrated two startups to IPOs, resulting in $10 billion in market capitalization. He led four startup/early stage companies to M&A completions valued at $575 million. Also, as Executive Vice President of Global Operations of a $2 billion software company, he participated in its return to profitability.
Pat holds a Business/ Computer Science degree from State University of New York College at Brockport.
David Bundy, CTO and Vice President, Engineering
David brings more than 30 years of technology and software development experience to BurstPoint. Previously, David was CTO and R&D Manager for Desktop Solutions at Radvision, where he led all aspects of architecture and product development, bringing revolutionary new desktop video conferencing technology to market. Prior to Radvision, David was the CTO and Vice President of Engineering of CUSeeMe, where he introduced the first Internet desktop multipoint multimedia conferencing software solution.
David has also held CTO and VP of Engineering positions at enterprise software conferencing companies, First Virtual Communications and White Pine Software. Previously at XPI Inc., of which David was a founder, and IBM, he was a pioneer in the X Windows industry creating the first X Windows Terminal.
David holds a B.S. with Honors in Electrical engineering from John Hopkins University.
David Safaii, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development
David brings over 12 years of experience in the enterprise software industry to BurstPoint, primarily in strategy development and analysis, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and financing initiatives. Previously, David was a principal with Windspeed Ventures, where he focused on infrastructure software as it relates to digital media, communications, mobile, networking, security, storage, and software as a service. Prior to Windspeed, David was with the Technology Investment Banking Group at CIBC World Markets where he focused on enterprise software and completed public and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general financial advisory engagements.
David also assisted in the development of Lehman Brothers' Global Equity and Derivative Trading System and held a position at Oppenheimer’s Equity and Fixed Income Sales Department. David is chairman emeritus and director of sponsors & partnerships of the New England Venture Network (NEVN), the largest young venture capital organization on the East Coast. Under NEVN, he co-founded VentureNetwork.VC, the first social network built exclusively for the venture capital community. He also is a board of director at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley and is the co-chair of the chapter's Emerging Leaders program.
In 2008, David was recognized as one of Banker and Tradesmen's "New Leaders" and in 2009 he was featured in Boston Business Journal's "40 Under 40." David holds a B.A. in Computer Information Processing from Boston College.
Tom Wing, Vice President, Sales Operations and Customer Support
Tom brings more than 30 years of new product development experience in the IP Telephony, Videoconferencing, Workstation, and Mini-Computer industries. Previously the CEO and Co-Founder of OmniPresence, Inc., a leading design firm specializing in Custom Telepresence and Integrated Audio Visual solutions, Tom has also held positions as Chief Technology Officer for Manhattan based SIP Communications Inc., and Director of Engineering at PictureTel Corporation, where he led development efforts to deliver Multipoint Conferencing Servers and Compact Room Systems. He previously held Engineering and Program Management positions with Hewlett-Packard, Apollo Computer, and Data General.
Tom holds an M.S. in Applied Management and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Dan Bathon, General Partner and Chairman, Windspeed Ventures

Dan is a founding partner of Windspeed Ventures and currently serves as general partner and chairman. He is a seasoned financial expert, having served as senior vice president and partner of Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he was in charge of the firm’s commercial paper division in New York and where he raised over $1 billion for two major customers. From 1987 Dan managed Drexel’s high yield bond development effort in Western Europe from Paris. This included structuring foreign currency debentures for some of Drexel’s European clients. In 1989, he left Drexel to start his own European investment banking company specializing in leveraged buy-outs, corporate finance, and institutional money management and achieved the highest market returns during his tenure. Upon returning to the United States, Dan started FINATECH, Inc., where he continued to advise international corporate finance clients. At FINATECH he helped lead the venture capital financing for Accordance Corporation that later merged into Software.com.
John Bullock, Managing Partner, Windspeed Ventures

John is a founding partner of Windspeed Ventures and has served as managing partner since its inception. John brings more than 18 years of experience in the high tech communications sector to Windspeed. Prior to joining Windspeed, John was the managing business director of the worldwide service organization for Bay Networks. There he was responsible for business development, sales, marketing, and strategy for the $150 million organization. Prior to Bay Networks, John was one of the early members of Wellfleet Communications. At Wellfleet, he was responsible for building all aspects of the service organization, including creating a profit center that went from $0 to over $90 million in annual revenue. Before Wellfleet John was a software development engineer at Codex/Motorola Corp., developing wide area data communications products. John holds a BS in computer science from Fitchburg State College.
Bill Seifert, CTO Avaya Data Solutions

Bill Seifert brings valuable experience in the high technology market to his position on the BurstPoint Board of Directors. In addition to founding companies including Wellfleet Communications and Agile Networks, Bill served as a general partner in Prism VentureWorks technology practice, where he focused on next generation communications equipment, communications software, and wireless components and subsystems.
In his current role as CTO of Avaya Data Solutions, Bill is responsible for identifying and adopting new technologies into the data networking business of Avaya. As a member of the BurstPoint Board of Directors, he will be instrumental in identifying and enhancing the strategic vision of the company through technological innovation to the BurstPoint Video Communication Platform.
